Day One: Get your belly in shape in 15 minutes a day

I’m beyond excited!
It’s been pretty hectic putting all the finishing touches together since this was a very spontaneous idea.  

So here we are. Already 38 ladies have signed up and in just couple of weeks these hot mammas are going to look even hotter 🙂 Let me tell you, since I had to research and practice a lot of yoga sets for this challenge, yesterday I was able to zip up into one of my favorite my pre-pregnancy skirts. Yay! 

However there is bad news. (You probably know it too.) Exercise itself is not enough. You’ll also need to make some dietary adjustments. The good news is that working on your abs will help strengthen your will, and give you the energy to make any changes you want. Making healthier choices will become a piece of cake.

A little bit about this video. This is a Kundalini Yoga set called Nabhi Kriya. An exotic name but they are simple exercises. You don’t have to be super flexible or remember any sort of sequence to do them. Just follow my instructions. 

There is one thing I’d like to explain though. We always start by tuning our mind and body and we do it with the mantra “Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo”. It means “I bow or I call on the infinite (higher) wisdom within me.” It will help you get the most out of your practice.

The meditation at the end was inspired by this quote by Yogi Bhajan:
“If a woman sits with folded hands in her lap for a few minutes everyday, and feels she is a container so vast that she contains the whole universe, she will never feel weak or have any problems.”
