What is So Purkh:
So Purkh is a long shabad written by Guru Ram Das that has the power to release you from karmic ties that no longer serve you. Especially when it comes to relationships. It can elevate your marriage, relationship with your relative, and or friendship or it can help you see the truth of who they are.
It is often used to uplift men in your life and help them reach higher consciousness. In this way, it can be used for your husbands, brothers, sons, or fathers. You don’t have to limit this prayer to only men, you can chant it for women as well, like your daughters or mother. It will help them clear the negative karma that they accumulated from the masculine energy.
However, this is not a mantra to attract someone directly and make them your partner.
It is said that:
“When a woman does So Purkh for a man or men in her life, they experience deep relaxation, elevation from their worries and good fortune will abound them.” This is truly a gift to men in your life.
It is recommended to repeat the whole shabad 11 times a day for 40 days.
Since it is complicated, you can first start with just reading the words along with Nirinjan’s Kaur chant.
At first you might feel overwhelmed by the So Purkh’s difficulty, but it is not impossible to learn, in fact it might only take few days.
The devotion that women feel to make things work, to make things right find a channel in So Purkh.

toon jug jug ayko sadaa sadaa toon ayko jee toon nihchal kartaa so-ee.
tudh aapay bhaavai so-ee vartai jee toon aapay karahi so ho-ee.
tudh aapay srist sabh upaa-ee jee tudh aapay siraj sabh go-ee.
jan naanak gun gaavai kartay kay jee jo sabhsai kaa jaano-ee. ||5||2||
Translation:
The primal God is perfectly pure; the primal God is perfect.
She is within all and beyond all.
Everyone meditates; all souls meditate on You, oh True Creator.
All souls are one with You – all souls come from you.
Oh saints, meditate on God and all things will fly away.
God Herself is the master, God Herself is the servant
O Nanak, everyone is empty-handed before thee.
You are in each beat of my heart, and in all hearts.
O Lord, You are the One in everyone.
Some are givers and some are takers…this is all Your play.
You are the giver and You are the receiver – It is all You.
You are the God of all, endless and infinite.
I have no words to describe Your virtues.
O Lord, Nanak is a sacrifice unto those who serve and serve You forever.
Meditate on God, meditate on God and your soul will be at peace in this world.
Meditate on God and live free. Live free and know the noose of death is meaningless.
Meditate on the fearless one, the fearless God and live free from fear.
Those who serve, O, those who serve my Lord are one with Hari – and they look Divine.
Blessed are they, O blessed are they who meditate on Hari.
Servant Nanak is a sacrifice to them.
Devotion, O devotion to You is a treasure-trove that ever overflows.
Your lovers, O your lovers praise You, my Beloved…forever and ever.
For You, just for You O Lord so many pujas are performed and so many endlessly chant and discipline themselves.
For You, just for You, O Lord so many read the simithis and sutras.
They do kriyas and ceremonies.
Those lovers, those lovers are sublime, O servant Nanak, to please You, my beloved Lord God.
You are the primal One, the most awesome creator of everything.
There are none as great as You.
Throughout time and beyond time, You are the constant One, the constant and true creator.
You do everything, and everything happens according to your will.
You create the whole universe, You destroy it and You create it again.
Servant Nanak sings the praises of his Beloved Lord forever and ever and ever.
She is the Knower within all souls….

The results don’t necessarily have to come after the 40 days. There is no reason to feel down. In any case you c=have cleared a lot of karma around relationships. That energy will stay with you. Can I ask you what where you expecting that didn’t turn out?

Al principio Pense en 3 hombres de mi vida, luego pasaron los días, y no pense mas en ellos. Ni los visualice, creí que era solo al comienzo. e gustaría saber si existe alguna pagina donde pueda leer o saber mucho mas sobre este Mantra. Gracias

Dear Ann, I bow to your soul who has given you wisdom to try this nam-simran ( reminiscence of the truth- the pure one) who resides within you and all around. the words written by Guru Ram das the fourth Guru were written in praise of the infinite energy to have a humble reminder that everything is possible if we are in deep alignment with that infinite energy- to be fearless as all fear goes away in/with the name,to remember to serve as this life is to serve the infinite present in every being. As we walk on this path, we slowly cut all the karmas and open our ways to eternity, allow ourselves or learn skills to allow ourselves to step out of our destiny. As we do that we are able to open and surrender to the divine light. It is important to check in with your ownself where I am, have I understood the meaning of every word that the prayer is telling me, perhaps weaving in every shabd (word) at every step of life with a dedication to embrace the divine light within. I am having touble in my love life…i want my relationship to healed and some direction …even i am with sopurkh mantra from last 3 years…please bless and guide me?
I want to ask if I can chant this mantra for above 40 days because I have completed 40 days of chanting so purkh mantra but I does not see much improvement in my relationship so should I continue to chant or should I start again chanting for 40 days???
Few days back my boyfriend did breakup with me because… he wanted to be focused in his career and his mother want that his son should be a great achiever … he listen his mother and he blocked me and but I really love him a lot even he loves too … Did this chant work if I did ??

Hi zita …its been 15 days i hv startded chanting this shabad…m in a relationship ..nd both of us are going through reallytough time …when we decide to get maaried something drive us apart nd when we decide to part ways something drives us towards each other ….nd after doing this chanting …ihv bn having some weird dreams …this time its about our separation ….should i pay attention to these dreams as answers from god …or they are just to distract me so that i stop chanting this shabad …plz help
Interesting. You are doing great paying attention to your dreams but also pay attention to all that you are feeling around this time. Think about what you want and how you want to feel. Keep chanting unless you will feel strong pull against it. it feels like strong resentment.

Can you give me an explanation about why you refer him as her, diferent from others translation. I like it very much, and i would Love to lern from u and pass it for the many woman here in Brasil.
I am very excited to have come across so purkh. I speak English only and I’ve been trying to start this prayer and speak it but I’m not pronouncing them incorrectly. How can I pronounce them better? I chanted So purakh for myself when I was going through the most turbulent times…The negative words that people speak sometimes stick with u…They literally sticked to my soul..I felt insulted..I hit hard the bottom most. I became quiet. Speaking became a task for me. I felt death was better than a life like this with so many struggles. No one could understand what i was going through. I strted feeling hollow…very very hollow..alone..lonely. It went on for 2 and half years. i wanted to get away with this but could not. And then I read about So Purakh. I started chanting. After exact 30 days, it so happened that I confident in my friend. She was hardly a friend that time and we hardly talked. Later I came to Know that she also believes in Sikhism. We were following the same path but never knew about it. While talking to her, I could cry. I could cry freely for the first time. For the first time, I realised that whatever I am saying the other person is understanding. Neither of us was making an effort to understand. When I cried, I felt the middle of my chest releasing some energy. Every pore of my body was emitting something. I started feeling free. and that was the day, I slept deeply after 2 years. I was relieved. Now whenever i feel clogged ever, i chant. Now the weeping time has reduced fro 30 days to sometimes 13 days and sometimes just 9 days. Guys, It works. Chant So Purakh and heal yourself. We all need heeling.
Hi Zita. I am doing the chanting for 32 days now. I don’t see improvement to far. Actually I think it’s getting worse. I think my husband cheated on me today. I am feeling devastated
I chanted this shabad 40 days and then started again.The second time i quit after 15 days because instead to going right in my relationship.Me and my husband both were upto divorce and then i stopped chanting.Nothing changed till now.Please help me

I understand it is to be recited 12 times. Can you kindly let me on the below:
1) can it recited during monthly cycle. Will those 5 days be counted or we have to do additional days.
2) also do all 11 times jh ave to nh e done in 1 sitting.
Or can be 5-6 in the morning and rest in the evening.

I had started this purkh mantra from 29th June 2021 but I forgot to chant this mantra on 15th July 2021. Is there any issue if I forgot for one day?? Else I recite it 11times in a day & whom I love he come back in my life.

i have been chanting this since 2nd of feb and after 2 weeks of chanting i broke up with my ex bf and i continue to chant this with full od faith, and i met my husband after 76 days of chanting , and this really works for me
