Depression: 5 tips to kick your butt out of it

Depression is not a laughing matter but I’ll try to make you laugh anyway.

We live in uneasy times, it is not just you, many people are having hard time.

Our whole planet and society is going through deep reconstruction, and the future is not certain.

There is NO pre-designed path for happiness, success, relationships, contentment.

This is the time when we have define what each of these things means for us.

The truth is our systems are failing us, systems like goverment, medicine, social structure, education. Everything that we use to depend on to give us security is failing.

Here are my 5 unconventional tips to kick your but out of depression:

I am not psychologist, these tips come from my personal experience and observation of subtle energy shifts in my students. The 4th and 5th tip especially were helpful to me. I hope this will be helpful to you as well.

1. Depression is a mind game.

You are at the point of destroying your life just by pure thinking. Congratulations, acknowledge your mental power and use it to pick yourself up.

2. Get Physical:

Exercise to kick start your system, your blood, your whole body. It is generally known exercise increases serotonine and dopamine, chemicals that makes you feel good. This is not going to solve your depression but it will give you a little kickstart of energy to start dealing with it.

3. Laugh out loud, forcefully.

Fake it, fake it until your insincerity becomes funny. Do it as least once a day and fool your system into happiness.

4. Watch the power of nature.

One thing is for certain, EVERYTHING CHANGES, your situation as well. Nature is an in-your-face example of powerful nature within you. Connect with nature and you’ll connect with the true unyielding power within yourself.

5. Grow your emotional muscle. Find the root of the problem.

Don’t go far, come, near, to the root of the root of your issue that’s where you’ll find the antidote to your depression. I’m paraphrasing my favorite poem by Rumi.
